Hovercraft launched to Brancaster after 11 young adults cut off by tide




Hunstanton RNLI rounded off a busy week when the hovercraft was launched yesterday to a report of 11 people cut off by the tide on Scolthead Island, Brancaster.

The hovercraft launched at 5.25pm but on arrival found all the young adults had swam ashore and were with the local Coastguard response team.

After a check of the island, no other people were left.

The hovercraft then returned to the station.
