Plans to build 32 homes in Downham were given the green light earlier this week.
West Norfolk Council’s planning committee have approved The Grosvenor Partnership 3 LP application to construct homes on a site off Railway Road.
The developer is looking to put up a mixture of flats, semi-detached and detached houses. Plans include two and three bedroom homes.
The site had previously had planning permission for 43 homes in 2007 but this had lapsed.
Downham Town Council had lodged objections to the development due to fears about losing The Willows Nature Reserve along with the impact on this.
The plans were approved during a meeting on Monday.
