Are these the dirtiest pictures in Lynn?

Ahead of one of the biggest days of the year, when Lynn shows off it's magnificent history and superb buildings to residents and visitors, the Lynn News went out and about in the town to see just how good an impression our streets will make.

Most of these photos were taken a few yards from our office in Tuesday Market Place, and two of them were captured by members of the public.

In recent years, Britain has become more eco-concious than ever, yet in less than an hour but a quick glance at our streets shows that not everyone is getting the message.

Have we less respect for our environment?

Are plastic pollution campaigns effective enough?

What can be done about it?

Would Lynn benefit from more community litter picking groups?

Tell us what you think and what can be done.

Please send your own photos of littering or mess in public to newsdesk@lynnnews.co.uk subject line: Litterbugs
