An afternoon of art and free live music is on offer at the sixth Greyfriars Art Space Festival in Lynn on Sunday.
This will be held in the Tower Gardens – opposite Greyfriars Art Space gallery – from 12noon to 4pm.
At the festival there will be art on the railings, artists’ stalls, art challenges and activities for children, and lots more, together with a full programme of live entertainment by the ever-popular Daisy’s Cat, The Fried Pirates, Yve Mary B, Lee Colville and Josh Warrington, and Simon Smith, together with poetry by Callum Brazzo.
During the afternoon a tombola will raise money for the Samaritans at Lynn.
Kathy Cossins, on behalf of Greyfriars Art Space, said: “Our aim is, also, to raise awareness of our own not-for-profit organisation while promoting other organisations and businesses in the vicinity of Tower Gardens.
“Come along and join us; bring a picnic and enjoy the afternoon in a lovely setting.”
There is still time for artists, crafts people and performers to take part, call on 0751 7147444 for further information.
The diverse annual members’ exhibition at Greyfriars Art Space, continues to September 11; it will be open during Sunday’s festival, and then Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm.
