An award-winning poet from Ingoldisthorpe is to offer free creative writing workshops in the coming months as part of a project funded by Arts Council England.
Elisabeth Sennitt Clough, who launched her debut collection of poetry in Europe last month, was awarded the grant by the council to allow her to embark on her three-year At or Below Sea Level project.
As part of the scheme, one of the main objectives is for it to support the research and personal development for Dr Sennitt Clough’s second full collection of poetry.
The other aim is to provide opportunities for local communities to participate in free creative writing workshops in addition to some other opportunities.
The sessions start at Hunstanton Town Hall on Saturday, June 3 from 10am to 12pm.
Dr Sennitt Clough will then be at Ingoldisthorpe Village Hall on Saturday, August 5 from 1pm to 3pm and at Stretham Parish Rooms on Saturday, August 12 from 1pm to 3pm.
The pieces of work created in these workshops can be submitted for publication on the project website.

The poet launched her first full collection of more than 60 poems in Brussels last month called ‘Sightings’, having lived in Maastrich prior to moving to Norfolk.
She will launch Sightings closer to home at Café Writers in Norwich (held at Take 5 in Tombland) on Monday, April 10.
