The Thornham family fun day and dog show is one of two major events taking place in the village over the August bank holiday weekend.
Starting at midday on Sunday, August 28, the annual event on the playing field, adjacent to the village hall, looks to be bigger and better than ever with something to entertain all the family.
The following day (August 29), Thornham Cricket Club will deliver a new initative by hosting a six-a-side tournament.
Hunstanton Concert Band will set the tone for the start of the fun day with their lively selection of popular music with a swing.
The dog show is also back following its great success last year. Registration opens at 12.30pm with an entry fee of £1 per category.
The classic car display has been a long-standing feature of the event and organiser John Needham anticipates another excellent turnout this year.
Vintage and classic cars of all shapes and sizes with gleaming chrome and paintwork and enthusiastic owners are sure to draw attention.
Admission is £2 for adults includes a lucky number draw with a meal for two at a popular local venue as first prize. Accompanied children will be admitted free.
Proceeds from the event will go to support Thornham Village Hall and Playing Field in its maintenance and development programme.
The cricket competition on the Monday, organised by club stalwart Steve Lucas, has attracted entries from a number of teams.
Families, supporters and cricket enthusiasts are all welcome to attend.
