King’s Lynn’s Little Discoverers transforms space with new flooring

A charity has revealed its new transformed space, thanks to the hard work of a flooring company and a generous donation.

Little Discoverers in Lynn has had brand-new flooring laid to create a more comfortable and practical space thanks to Jason from J. Peek Flooring and a donation from the town’s Trinity Rotary Club.

Now the group has a cosy carpeted area where children can explore more comfortably and a “beautiful” laminated area where they can enjoy a snack and take part in activities.

The new flooring has not only changed the look of the session room but also allows members to run sessions more safely with a more comfortable and practical space.

Lauren Tuffs, team member at Little Discoverers, said: “Jason did an incredible job and was a pleasure to work with. Everything was kept tidy and treated with respect.

“Jason donated his time over the busy Christmas period to come into the building to remove all our old flooring and replace it with new. This meant we did not need to cancel any sessions for our families during the first week back.

Families have been amazed at the transformation, and commented on how lovely it looks and how much more suited the flooring is for Little Discoverers.

Lauren added: “Not only were we lucky enough to have Jason gift his time and labour, but we also received a very kind donation of £500 to go towards the cost of materials from the wonderful guys at Trinity Rotary Club.

“We are always so appreciative of everyone who supports Little Discoverers. It costs around £65,000 a year to run Little Discoverers, and it is thanks to people like Jason and Trinty Rotary that the charity has continued to thrive for 20 years this year.”
