Barber surgeons and brewers helped to celebrate the heritage of a Lynn market place during a special event over the weekend.
Beer, Butchers and Barbers was staged by West Norfolk Council in Saturday Market Place.
Hundreds of people were drawn to the market place along with High Street and St James Street on Saturday and Sunday.
Good trade was reported by local producers and brewers during the weekend with one butcher selling out on both days.
Visitors enjoyed watching College of West Anglia students put on two hair and beauty shows on Saturday.
Crowds also gathered on Sunday to watch the re-enactment of the gory world of the barber surgeon, who would amputate limbs as well as cutting hair. The Barber Shop Quartet, Turkish barber, and tattooist were also popular.
Elizabeth Nockolds, Cabinet Member for Culture, Heritage and Health, said: “This weekend brought our summer programme of events to a close and what a fantastic conclusion it was.
“The town was really busy with many people spending time in the centre and along the quayside, as well as enjoying the events. We hope people have enjoyed the many varied events.”
