King's Lynn Beer Festival to raise funds for National Autistic Society

By Lynn News Reporter

The 22nd Kings Lynn Beer Festival organised by Vancouver Round Table and the Stuart House Hotel will take place at the end of July.

The selection of ales available at the hotel in Goodwins Road comes from all over the country as well as local brews.

New this year is a Gin, Pimms and Prosecco bar.

A proportion of the profits from the festival is used by the Round Table

The festival offers probably the largest selection of real ales in West Norfolk, good food and superb entertainment each evening.

The bar of the hotel is well known in CAMRA circles and the hotel has been formally recognised in the Good Beer Guide for the last 21 years.

It is also a regular meeting place for the Vancouver Round Table and hence the natural alliance in promoting the event at one of King’s Lynn busiest times of year.

A proportion of the profits is used by the Round Table to help support local charities.

In total more than £80,000 has been raised in the last 20 years to date – quite an amazing achievement.

This year’s charity is: National Autistic Society (West Norfolk).

Dates: Thursday, July 25 5pm – 11pm Rum Dogs (folk/rock); Friday, July 26, 12pm – 11pm Keno Kings (serious blues); Saturday, July 27, 12pm – 11pm DNA (foot-tapping/dancing covers)
