Setch Queen's Platinum Jubilee British beer festival sees Warehouse Taproom Bar & Restaurant celebrations
The Warehouse Taproom Bar & Restaurant in Setch hosted a Jubilee Great British Beer Festival on Saturday.
The event was well attended and the evening included a hog roast.
It offered beer selected from the finest breweries across the UK, which included Tiny Rebel, Purple Moose, BrewDog, Harviestoun, and Thornbridge.
This was the first beer festival at The Warehouse and due to its success, there are now plans afoot for an Oktoberfest later in the year. This is handy as the famous biggest beer shop in the UK – some say the world – is just adjacent to the taproom and is known for receiving the Oktoberfest beer delivery first in the UK.
Daniel Clark, director said: “We had an excellent time celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and would love to host another celebration for a rousing Oktoberfest festival too.
"Our newly built taproom and beer garden served as an excellent site to promote our vast selection of the best of British beer.
"The Warehouse has gone from strength to strength and has proved an extremely popular destination to locals as well as tourists, whether it be our fantastic Sunday lunch, just chilling in the beer garden with the adjacent children's play area, or dropping for a late-night beer, it is an idyllic spot for all beer enthusiasts with a choice from our extensive range of world beer.
"It is also located right next to the biggest beer shop in the UK, Beers of Europe which has just had a major facelift and is now double in size stocking over 2,000 different varieties of beer, cider, spirits, and wine.”
Also onsite is the largest antique shop in the UK, The Steiff Shop, and a large second-hand bookshop.
The restaurant is now taking bookings for Father's Day offering a 'Free Pint for Dad'.
The Oktoberfest dates will soon be released. To keep updated, sign up for the newsletter: www.thewarehousetaproom.co.uk
