CGM Group, based at Bexwell, wins BALI Award for Employee Excellence




Leading commercial landscaping company CGM Group, based in Bexwell, is celebrating winning a prestigious national award.

It has won the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) Award in the category of Employee Excellence.

The annual BALI Awards ceremony was held at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Friday when their success was announced.

The event was hosted by TV presenter Mark Durden-Smith and Alan Dedicoat, the "voice of the balls" on the National Lottery programme and also the voice on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

More than 1,000 people attended the annual awards ceremony which highlights businesses that are raising the standards in the UK landscaping and grounds maintenance sector.

The CGM Group was praised for its excellent approach towards employee development, training, career progression and for promoting the landscaping industry to the next generation as a rewarding and satisfying profession.

This award follows previous success earlier in the year, when CGM Group won the National Apprenticeship Scheme Award.

CGM currently employs more than 200 people in the East of England and next year celebrates its 35th anniversary. It also has bases in Norwich, Cambridge and Peterborough.
