A charity night has hit the jackpot for officials from the Swaffham and Litcham Home Hospice.
The hospice has received a cheque for £1,000 from organisers of a fundraising bingo evening, which was organised by Christine and Peter Howard and held in Narborough last month.
Hospice co-ordinator Debbie Hanwell, pictured above accepting the donation, said: “Our services are provided free of charge to patients, their families and carers.
“Although we are part-funded by the NHS, in order to maintain our support, we rely on the support and donations of the local community to raise the further £100,000 required each year.
“Therefore, we are very grateful to receive this generous donation from Christine and Peter and to everyone that took part in the evening.”
