Body found in search for missing King's Lynn student

A body found on a Norwich university campus today is believed to be that of a missing student from Lynn, police say.

Searches have been taking place on the grounds of the University of East Anglia following reported sightings of 25-year-old Nick Sadler.

Nick was reported missing almost two weeks ago and his family have made several appeals for help to find him.

In a statement this afternoon, Norfolk Police said a man's body had been recovered from a lake on the campus.

Formal identification has yet to take place, although officers believe it to be Nick. His family has been informed.

The statement added: "The death is currently being treated as unexplained; however detectives do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances. A post mortem examination will take place in due course."
