LEARN MOREPlans to provide a new community hall at a West Norfolk parish church have been submitted.
Officials are seeking the green light to provide the facility within the tower of St Clement’s Church in Terrington St Clement.
Documents submitted as part of a planning application to West Norfolk Council said: “The church is very vibrant within the village and there are numerous groups who use the church but for some time now, since the demise of the separate hall, there has been a need for meeting spaces.
“In looking at how best to achieve a modest meeting room, having exhausted all of the other alternative options within the church, the option of providing a room off the link to the tower has presented itself as the best option available.”
A decision is expected next month.
