A West Norfolk pub has been named as the East of England’s best at an awards ceremony.

The White Horse at Brancaster Staithe received the accolade at the inaugural Pub and Bar awards in London.

General manager Christina Boyle said: “It’s great news for the team at The White Horse and really good news to tell our customers.

“We feel highly honoured to have received this award and look forward to spreading the news to our lovely customers this summer.”

Tristan O’Hana, group editor of Pub and Bar, said the White Horse was an “exemplary operation.”
