British Tae Kwon-Do

Council Championships

This event for 2015 was held at the Worcester Arena.

Some 10 fighting areas ran throughout the day with 500 competitors and 100 officials.

This competition is organised by the British Tae Kwon-Do Council who are the umbrella organisation for most of the main Tae Kwon-Do associations in the country.

This event was made open to ladies and children only to all the major Associations in the UK, so it was a very good event to judge how good a competitor is compared to others throughout the country, over many different Associations.

Some 14 students from the Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do attended this tournament – with Pattern, Sparring, Destruction and Team Sparring events during the day.

A well achieved total of 10 medals were won at this competition.

The Mark Farnham Schools are now preparing for their next event which will be the Welsh Championships in Cardiff in May.
