Bus windows smashed as chairman says link with air rifle attacks is 'quite possible'

The chairman of an allotment association has suggested there may be a link between objects being thrown at buses and reported air rifle attacks in a market town.

Graham Edwards of the Swaffham Community Allotment and Leisure Gardeners' Association [SCALGA] was speaking after two windows of a bus were smashed in the town on May 23, and commented that it was "quite possible" the same people were responsible.

Norfolk Police are investigating an incident which took place around 5.30pm at the junction of the A1065 with the A47 at Swaffham in which "a projectile smashed two windows" of a bus.
