Downham Market business keeps customers hooked
An innovative new coat, bag and hat hook range has made the transition from down-under to Wimbotsham.
This month sees the UK launch of the product for the education new-build and refurbishment market.
The product is available to the general public as well and is just about to go live on Amazon.
The Safehook branded range of hooks was designed and developed in Australia by the same team who produced the now ubiquitous Postura single piece polypropylene chair.
The Postura was a world first for classroom chairs and has now become a standard product used by millions of students across the globe.
The same uncompromising approach to realising a game changing range of coat hooks for educational settings has been used to design the I Hook, I Hook Max and Y Hook products.
Will Hinks, managing director of Safehook in the UK said: "We wanted to give teachers and students a product which was first and foremost at the leading edge of safety and functionality.
"Starting from scratch gave us the opportunity to breathe life into a category which is invisible at best and frankly boring.
"Working closely with schools over several iterations of design our Safehook range offers a technically superior solution with a smooth, shallow profile, moulded with anti-microbial additives to help protect users and can carry up to 150kg.
"The Safehook I Hook and I Hook Max ranges are a unique three-part system in a wide range of bold and beautiful colours, from which more than 400 colour combinations are possible.
"This means that our hooks can be matched to almost any colour scheme from logos or team colours to the latest colour trends."
Mr Hinks said: "Safehook products are now regularly specified for new build and major refurbishment projects across Australia, and we look forward to similar uptake in the UK and working with educators, interior designers and FF and E suppliers across the country."
