Eastern Frames UK Ltd expands with new outlet in Hunstanton
A company which specialises in uPVC and aluminium glazing installations has expanded by opening a new base in Hunstanton.
Eastern Frames UK Ltd opened its new site on King's Lynn Road last month.
It already has a successful operation in Wisbech, which continues to be its headquarters, but there are plans to take the business even further with another outlet.
Business manager Matt Barton explained: "We think there is a gap in the market in the Hunstanton area. If you follow the A149 from Lynn to Wells, there's not another company in that vicinity offering the same services as we do.
"Prior to opening at Hunstanton, we have carried out work in the area for several years, but we have had no base.
"When you talk to people there you hear the same story, whether it's people wanting a new extension, conservatory, orangery or even guttering attending to, no one knows where to go.
"So we thought why not put a base right in the middle, which is why we chose Hunstanton."
Eastern Frames was first set up by brothers Anthony and Darren Boyle working from units at various locations, including Walton Highway and Terrington St Clement before setting up in Wisbech in 2017.
It became a limited company in 2011. Anthony and Darren are both directors, with Anthony in a customer-facing role, dealing with quotations, order processing and site visits, while Darren works on the operations side, heading up the installation teams and handling customer aftercare.
The business works for contractors, developers and self-builders and it also does plenty of domestic work, said Matt, which they hope to expand upon from its new base.
At the Hunstanton premises there is a showroom where people can view samples of products, such as windows and doors and a small extension is being built which will showcase aluminium items. It also offers further space for storage.
Said Matt: "Our main aim is to become well-known locally and get a name for our quality and services. We're a family-run business, and don't go knocking on doors or cold calling. As far as the work split goes, about 70 to 80 per cent of our business is generated by word of mouth. Social media plays a massive part for us."
Although there are no new roles yet at the Hunstanton base, they may be looking to take on administrative staff in the future.
