Volvo technician, Jack Tilburn, 20, who is based at the Hylton Gott dealership in Crimplesham, has been awarded a Certificate of Apprenticeship at the manufacturer’s graduation ceremony.

Jack joined the dealership in 2011 and has since been working towards a National Vocational Qualification through in-dealer study and work-based assessments. He received his certificate from Volvo Cars UK’s customer service director David Baddeley at an award ceremony held in Volvo’s training and development centre in Daventry. Robert John, master technician at Hylton Gott’s Downham Road dealership, said: “Jack has so much dedication, commitment and passion for his role and progresses on a daily basis.”

Jack’s father, Steve Tilburn is dealer principal, and said his son was a real asset to the aftersales team and will continue in a full-time role.
