Two businesswomen are joining forces to raise money for the children’s ward at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Katie Raven, who runs Time Out Beauty salon in Manor Road, Dersingham, and Cheryl Daubney, whose business Allez Chic Clothing is at Castle Rising, are holding a clothing sale at the salon on Monday, May 18, from 10am to 3pm.
Ten per cent of the sales of clothing will be donated and there will crafts stall, a luxury raffle, tea, coffee and plenty of cakes.
Katie, who has run Time Out Beauty for six years, said: “Local artist, Jill Illet, has also donated a beautiful painting of bluebell woods all framed, which we will be silent auctioning on the day with all the money going towards the children’s ward.
“I have a passion for raising money for local charities and the salon provides a perfect way for me to do so.” In the past Katie has raised £1,000 for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) by taking part in the Grand East Anglia Run and holding coffee mornings. Anyone who wants to find out more can contact Katie at the salon on 01485 545964. Pictured are Katie, left, and Cheryl with some of the clothes which will be on sale.
