This afternoon trading stopped at a Lynn clothing store which only opened its doors for business just over three months ago.
Earlier today shoppers were selecting the last few bargains off the rails at ladies’ fashion store Lavitta in the town’s Broad Street.
The shop had been officially opened by Borough Mayor David Whitby in November.
It is believed that the closure will mean the loss of around six jobs in Lynn and that Lavitta, which has about nine other stores in the UK, will be concentrating on its online sales in future.
Brothers Anil and Anand Chima, are directors of Lavitta, who said at the time of the Lynn store opening that they launched their e-commerce site www.lavitta.co.uk in 2015, and had been opening stores through 2016.
They also said it was because of a considerable number of requests through the website to open a store in the Lynn area, that they decided to bring Lavitta to the town.
