A Heacham holiday park is holding its first ever Farmers’ Market and Food Fair tomorrow (Saturday, May 9) to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Palm Beach Holiday Park, in Jubilee Road, North Beach, is inviting people to join the free event which is being held from 10.30am to 1pm.
The fair, which is also the first of its kind to be held in the village, will feature numerous stalls selling local produce and goods, such as meats, fish, breads, cakes, sweets, homemade chocolates, preserves, pies, cosmetics, scented candles and more.
Stallholders will donate a proportion of their proceeds to Macmillan, and donations can also be made on the day.
After tomorrow, the farmers’ market and fair will then be held on the second Saturday of every month through to October 10, with the exception of August when the park will be getting ready for its annual Coffee Morning and Craft Fair on Saturday, August 22.
The park raised more than £3,000 for the charity last season, and is hoping the addition of the food fairs will help them reach this year’s target of £5,000.
