Heacham-based Rural Broadband has been named as a finalist in the national 2016 Rural Business Awards in the category for Rural Innovation of the Year.
Richard Dix, who is director of the business based at Marea Farm, was delighted with the news. He said: “This is a great boost to the team who work tirelessly to get businesses and homes connected to great broadband. It looks as though 2016 is going to be a great year for the business. We are already looking forward to the finals.”
These are due to take place in October at the Belfry Hotel and Resort in the West Midlands.
Rural Broadband is an official partner of the Government’s Basic Broadband for All scheme to give everyone access to a minimum of 2Mbps broadband speed.
