Affordable housing developer and regeneration specialist Lovell, which has projects in Lynn, has been awarded the top Investors in the People Gold standard.
The award the highest available under the IIP framework – puts the company in the top seven per cent of organisations with IIP accreditation and recognises Lovell’s exceptional achievements in helping its workforce develop their professional skills.
Lovell designs, builds and sells homes as well as undertaking major housing regeneration and refurbishment programmes. It has worked on Freebridge Community Housing’s large-scale regeneration programme at Lynn’s Hillington Square.
Lovell regional director Tony Tann said: “Our people are our most important asset. It is down to their hard work and talent that we are able to keep delivering the very best results for our clients and partners. We recognise this by investing in helping our teams continue to develop their professional skills.
“Our success in achieving the IIP Gold award underlines our commitment to our staff and the crucial role they play in our continuing business success.”
In order to help staff progress and develop their careers, Lovell has put in place a series of People Promises to employees, including commitments on training and opportunities for promotion.”
The company is also the preferred bidder by West Norfolk Council for an £80 million-plus housing scheme to create up to 600 new homes in the Lynn area.
