Businesses and schools are being asked to support Bring a Pound to Work as part of KLFM’s Cash in the Community initiave.
The radio station is hoping to raise thousands of pounds for good causes, and organisations in need right throughout West Norfolk and the Fens.
It is also giving half the proceeds to the Mayor’s charities, which this year include The Prince’s Trust, and the Kandoo Club in Lynn.
To do this, people need to sign up on the KLFM website
Super Trooper Bear and the on-air team will be out on the roads on Bring a Pound to Work day on Friday, May 22, collecting donations and giving live updates.
Emily Bull, from KLFM, said: “We’re hoping to make this an annual event and want the first one to go with a bang. £1 isn’t a lot and we just need people to shake a bucket around the office on May 22. It really will make a difference.
“We know KLFM has a huge reach across the area and that our listeners love to get involved and lend a hand. We’re hoping that people will support this and we look forward to sharing all the amazing stories from people we’ll be able to help.”
