The Thurlow Nunn Group, which has a base in Lynn, features in a Sunday Times list of top performing companies which across the UK include the likes of Chelsea Football Club, Nando’s, Caffe Nero and Travelodge.
Thurlow Nunn is one of ten companies in the east which appears in the Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250 league table which ranks the UK’s private mid-market growth companies with the biggest sales. The full league table is due to be published on Sunday, October 11. as a ten-page broadsheet supplement.
The ten companies with headquarters in the east of England have made a strong contribution to the local economy and increased combined sales ten per cent to £2.6 billion, operating profits 21 per cent to £181m and between them employ nearly 12,000 people.
The Thurlow Nunn Group, an agricultural machinery and car dealer, which was not in the league table last year, had sales of £158m in 2014 which was up 12 per cent.
The league table and awards programme is sponsored by Grant thronton and Barclays and has been compiled for the 11th year by Fast Track an Oxford-based research and networking events company.
