Cars in Lynn are set to sparkle after a major £150,000 refurbishment project at the IMO car wash on the corner of the town’s North Street and John Kennedy Road.

The work on the premises inside and out has taken place over several weeks, and after a short closure, the doors were open for business again this week.

Tim Livsey, marketing director for IMO, said: “The main changes are the installation of mitters which give scratch free cleaning and new machinery to give an improved wash quality.”

One of the new features of the attended car wash is the installation of windows, through which colourful new interior lighting can be seen.

Said Mr Livsey: “Opening up the site with the windows was crucial to allow people to see what goes on in the site.”
