Educational toy manufacturer, Learning Resources, based in Lynn, teamed up with independent toy establishment, Fun Learning, to celebrate the NSPCC’s Big Board Game Day.

Learning Resources hosted a special day of fundraising events on May 25 at their offices, where they planned an exciting game tournament, a quiz and a sweepstake. All in aid of the NSPCC, the tournament consisted of six rounds, where teams were challenged to play some of

the company’s new educational family games, testing strategy and observation skills.

Fun Learning hosted an in-store demonstration event at their Kingston Upon Thames and Brighton stores.

Dennis Blackmore, managing director at Learning Resources, said: “We welcome this opportunity to work with our valued customer, Fun Learning, in promoting this excellent charity’s work. Family games like the ones we produce promote the kind of enjoyment and togetherness that modern

families need.”

Sarah Lambley, Community Fundraiser at The NSPCC, said “We are delighted that Learning Resources, its resellers and employees have chosen to support Big Board Game Day, helping to raise much needed funds to support vulnerable children and their families both locally and throughout the UK.”

All donations will go towards the NSPCC, helping to support the fight for every childhood.
