Ten new bedrooms have been added to the Victoria Inn at Holkham following the conversion of one of the oldest buildings on the estate.
The Ancient House, which dates from the late 1500s, has been revamped to provide ten additional bedrooms, including four spacious family rooms.
The conversion follows on from a total refurbishment 18 months ago of The Victoria Inn under the direction of Kent-based interior designer, Julia Laidlaw, in collaboration with the estate’s project manager, Johanna Tennant.
Many of the building’s original features have been maintained, such as the bread oven from the time when it operated as a bakery for 100 years from 1810. Bookings for the Ancient House rooms can be made from today. For more details visit www.holkham.co.uk/victoria
