Technology that can offer motorists greater peace of mind when it comes to safety is being rolled out by Lynn’s Thurlow Nunn.
OnStar is the latest innovation in auto information services and is available to new Vauxhall owners who enrol in the service. OnStar advisers are available 24 hours, 365 days a year and users can request assistance at the touch of a button located in the overhead console or rear view mirror.
In any vehicle with OnStar, if an airbag deploys, OnStar is automatically alerted and an adviser will contact the vehicle. If there is no response, then emergency services are requested.
The system is free to customers for the first year of ownership. OnStar transforms the car into a WiFi hotspot capable of running seven devices at once.
