A new development in Narborough is proving popular with people working at RAF Marham, who have reserved half of the houses so far.

Persimmon Homes East Midlands says it has already sold 33 properties at its Skipper’s Meadow on Chalk Lane, which is just three miles from the RAF base.

Nova Eames, head of sales at Persimmon Homes, said: “We have had a very busy start at our new development in Narborough and we’re delighted that there has been such strong interest from RAF personnel.

“RAF Marham is one of the busiest RAF bases in the county and, from what we’ve seen so far, the men and women who work there are clearly pleased to see affordable new homes on their doorstep.

“As well as RAF personnel, we have seen strong interest from families who want to live in a semi-rural location with access to fantastic community facilities.”

Persimmon is offering incentives on properties at Skipper’s Meadow which have been finished up to roof level, so a purchaser might only have to wait a few weeks to receive the keys.

The builder is offering free carpets, £1,000 towards legal fees and a tailor made homebuyer’s package.

Persimmon’s Part Exchange scheme is available at Skipper’s Meadow, removing the stress of selling a property before purchasing a new one. Persimmon will manage the sale of an existing property from start to finish, eliminating agents’ fees as well as hassle.

Nova added: “We recently opened our Hadleigh style showhome and people have really enjoyed looking around.”
