A new training centre in Lynn aimed at offering courses for 16-18 year olds is holding an open day on Thursday, February 25.

Nova Training, based at 33-39 Tower Street, has a wide variety of options for young people regardless of exam results.

By joining a Headstart programme, youngsters will be given an individual learning plan matched to their future aspirations which allows them to learn, earn and gain qualifications.

Eligible learners can access bursary funds to support them financially throughout their programme. All learners can also earn Nova bonuses which are related to specific achievements throughout the course.

Headstart learners benefit from a range of vocational subjects including construction, motor vehicle, hospitality, business administration, customer service and retail. All of these are supported by functional skills and high quality work placements.

The open day runs from 1pm to 6pm.

To become part of an exciting Headstart or apprenticeship programme, visit Nova’s, apply online or email or call Mel Medlock on 01553 764100 for Headstart.

Nova Training is also looking for businesses who would be willing to offer learners work placements. Anyone able to support a training programme should call on 01553 764100.
