Parts of King’s Lynn have been hit by a power cut this morning.
The power cut is currently affecting the County Court Road area of town.
The Lynn News offices down Purfleet Street were also briefly hit.
UK Power Networks engineers are working as quickly and as safely as possible to restore electricity supplies to 171 properties in the town.
The problem arose following a fault on an underground cable at 9.38am today (Monday).
Originally, 480 properties were affected but the majority had their supplies restored within half-an-hour.
Jenny Chapman, press officer at UK Power Networks, said: “We understand how difficult it is to be without power and apologise for any inconvenience this is causing.”
