Plans have been submitted to build 10 new homes in Terrington St John.

S Bates has applied to West Norfolk Council to develop land west of New Road.

The outline application, which was lodged earlier this week, states that two of the 10 homes will be affordable.

The application’s planning statements says: “Terrington St John with St John’s Highway and Tilney st Lawrence is identified as a key rural service centre in the council’s core strategy, which provide a range of services that can meet basic day-to-day needs, and a level of public transport that can enable access to and from the settlement. The council will seek to maintain and enhance facilities to support this function. This will include new housing, employment and retail development.”
