Four businesses teamed up to organise a sell-out Easter event for Norfolk tots.
Norfolk-based baby and toddler activity providers ‘Munchkin and Me’ and ‘Little City Norfolk’, along with Ele and Me from Wells, laid-on an egg-xtra special event in the Stables venue at Ffolkes in Hillington.
Last Wednesday, the venue played host to a fabulous morning of fun for toddlers and pre-schoolers.
The morning commenced with an immersive Easter story session led by Rachel Curtis from Munchkin and Me, before parents and tots head off to discover Little City’s magical Easter themed role-play world.
In the ‘City’, little ones got to spend time exploring the different themed role-play areas, as well as taking part in an egg hunt organised by Ele and Me, which is a Wells-Next-The-Sea-based toy shop.
Rachel said: “The previous events I have done with Little City have always been incredibly popular.
“We were thrilled that this event sold out in under 24 hours - the quickest yet. In fact one of the three sessions sold-out in less than ten minutes.
“This was my first time working with Chantelle, who also runs Social Enterprises and has recently taken over Little City Norfolk, and we were hugely excited about teaming with Annie from Ele and Me and Ffolkes to put on this unique event for Norfolk families.”
Rachel, a former teacher, runs weekly sessions at the Hillington venue. Her small business recently made it as a finalist in the National What’s On 4 Kids Awards for Best Baby Activity.
Ellie, who brings her son Caleb to Rachel’s weekly sessions at Stables, said: “The Stables venue is probably the best venue I’ve ever been to for a baby class. It’s bright and fresh with lots of space.
“It’s also got the added bonus of the Ffolkes restaurant on site. You are able to use it before and after the class which is always a nice way to fill up some of your day with mum friends and our babies.”
Chantelle Tyrrell, the founder and CEO of the newly registered charity Social Moments Enterprise, shares Rachel’s vision of nurturing activities for children.
She said: “At Social Moments, we are dedicated to providing engaging activities for early years settings, creating spaces for children to play and learn while building friendships and support among parents and carers.
“We are thrilled to collaborate with Rachel and her team, aligning our efforts to enrich the lives of Norfolk families.”
Becky, events Manager at Ffolkes, added: “Creating a hub where such fantastic local businesses can come together to host exciting new events for the local community is a massive part of why we do what we do at Stables.
“We have been hosting Munchkin and Me for 4 years and have loved being part of Rachel's journey, these collaborations help us all reach new audiences and create a great sense of community.”
All four businesses loved coming together to put on this unique event and bring families with under 5s together for some exciting Easter fun.
