Businessman with links to West Norfolk donates to fundraising cause

A business development manager at Norfolk Wills and Estate Planning is supporting a cause both personally and financially.

Neil Alexander, who does a lot of will writing appointments in both Dersingham and Lynn, is using his marketing company, Alexander's Marketing, to help a family he is very close to.

Matthew Gostling and Kirsty Smith have a four year old so Logan who will need an operation. They have a target of £60,000 of which they have raised £21,000.

Their son Logan was born at 30 weeks with his large intestine on the outside of his body. At 19 months cerebral palsy started affecting his legs. Family and friends are doing all they can to raise the funds needed, with a skydive and a sponsored boxing match happening soon.

Kirsty, who lives in Dereham, said: "It is amazing how the community has come together. Logan is a brilliant little boy, he loves playing with his diggers. The dream is hopefully he can use his legs more than he can and be pain free."

Logan's operation will have to be paid for privately as after assessment his score does not meet the requirements for payment on the NHS. The physio and the rehab afterwards are costly so the fundraising has been started.

Neil Alexander said: "I have been using my marketing company to get Logan's dad Matthew work as many businesses have been affected by Covid -19 and to get the best little man to walk, a boy who deserves it so much."
