A10/A134 Tottenhill roundabout closes overnight this week for resurfacing works
A busy roundabout between Lynn and Downham will be closed overnight this week for road resurfacing works.
Starting yesterday evening, the A10/A134 Tottenhill roundabout will be shut from 7pm for night work until Friday to allow for the work to take place.
It is scheduled to take four nights to complete, weather permitting.
The work will cost in the region of £88,000 and will be carried out by Norfolk County Council's community and environmental services department and their contractors.
The scheme aims to improve the surface of the carriageway, and the road should be open to traffic as normal from 6am to 7pm daily throughout the works.
When the road closures on the roundabout are in place, a fully signed official diversion route for the western part of the roundabout will be via A10 Lynn Road, A47, A1122 Swaffham Road and A10 Lynn Road.
The diversion route for the eastern part will be Watlington Road, Lynn Road, A47 and A10 Lynn Road.
Access to properties and businesses will be maintained at all times, but there may be times when vehicle access is restricted as work takes place in front of properties.
A spokesperson said: “The county council thanks people for their patience while this surface improvement work is carried out.”
