Hunstanton By The Book's Travel Tales and Tapas literary evening at The Terrace

A literary evening at The Terrace in Hunstanton served up Travel Tales and Tapas organised by By The Book owners Anna Pugh and Adrian Eden last Thursday.

A gathering of 20 guests enjoyed tapas dishes from around the world by The Terrace’s owner Victoria Kirk and her team and while guests tucked enthusiastically into a menu of ciabatta and spicy meat balls so too did the invited readers with tales of travel.

Jenny Beake read about female explorers Dame Freya Madeline Stark and Lady Hester Lucy Stanhope and poem, Robert Frost’s The Road Not Taken.

Author Ian Enters, who recently relocated to Docking, read his poems and there was a chance to buy his latest novel Redhead.

Adrian Eden read Left Luggage by Jeff Greenwald, an American journalist and travel writer.

Following the evening's success, future events are being planned.
