A new group for people of working age who are unable to work because of disability or health problems has been launched in North Lynn this week.
The CACELS (Coffee and Cake Enjoying Life Supportively) group held its inaugural meeting in the community cafe at the St Augustine’s Centre in North Lynn on Tuesday afternoon.
It is planned that the group will meet on the last Tuesday of each month from January.
The launch of the Lynn organisation followed the foundation of a similar group in Swaffham earlier this month.
A third group will hold its first meeting at the Downham Home and Garden store on Monday, between 2 and 3.30pm.
