A Lynn project by West Norfolk Carers has been shortlisted for The People’s Millions, a chance to scoop up to £50,000 of National Lottery funding if they win the public vote.
The Norfolk Carers Advice Bus is up against two other projects from Norwich and Great Yarmouth, but there are three days of voting ahead, from November 24-26.
Chair of trustees, Marion Coleman, said: “Advice services and activities will be offered from the minibus to carers – and we estimate that an extra 800 carers will benefit in the first year. There is no other similar resource to this in the area. It will be unique.”
The competition is by phone vote only. Voting lines open at 9am on November 25, and the number to call will be released on voting day by Norfolk County Council.
