Car overturned following crash on A47 at Swaffham

Emergency services rushed to the scene after a car overturned and left the A47 at the weekend.

Police were called to the Swaffham bypass at 8.11pm on Sunday after the vehicle ended up on the bank of the road.

The crash occurred not too far from the Swaffham Raceway, with fire crews attending and helping to make the scene safe.

One paramedic vehicle and a medic car were also in attendance.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said one man was assessed and discharged at the scene.
