Home Instead Senior Care, with offices in King's Lynn, gains top employer award

Positive feedback from employees has resulted in a care provider with offices in Lynn winning a top award for the second consecutive year.

And managing director of Home Instead Senior Care, Tom McEwan, has pledged to make it a hat-trick next year by gaining a further 5 Star Employer award from employee engagement specialists WorkBuzz.

In June WorkBuzz invited all Home Instead Senior Care’s caregivers and key players to provide confidential feedback about their experience working for the business.

This included their views on the training and development on offer, the relationship with their manager and day-to-day responsibilities. WorkBuzz then verified the results.

Home Instead Senior Care was awarded the WorkBuzz 5 Star Employer award this month, based on positive feedback from its employees, demonstrating its high levels of employee engagement, compared to other businesses of a similar size.

Tom said: “We are extremely proud of the 5 Star Satisfaction feedback from our caregivers. These people are the heartbeat of our business. Our client feedback was excellent and the caregivers are a huge part of this.

"This is the second year in a row in which we have achieved the five star rating. We will not become complacent and will strive to make it a hat-trick of awards next year.”

Home Instead Senior Care provides support to people living in West, Mid and North Norfolk from its offices based in Lynn, Dereham and Holt.

Steven Frost, CEO of WorkBuzz said: “The biggest challenge facing many organisations is recruiting and retaining the best talent.

"We would like to congratulate Home Instead Senior Care for its high levels of employee engagement. Its positive culture means that most employees are proud to work there, would choose to stay even if they were offered a similar job elsewhere, and are highly motivated.”
