Catch the bargains as West Norfolk antiques centre features in popular BBC show

There will be some more familiar scenes for West Norfolk viewers when a popular daytime show showcases our area next week.

Experts and contestants descended on the Antiques Warehouse and Collectables Centre at Setch to film episodes of the BBC series Bargain Hunt in April.

And the first of them is now set to be screened next Monday, June 28.

Centre manager Fiona Harris said: “What a fantastic day, all of our staff were delighted to welcome the Bargain Hunt team and a thoroughly enjoyable day was had by all.

"We all look forward to watching it."

The show, which will feature presenter Eric Knowles alongside experts Caroline Hawley and Mark Stacey, will show teams exploring the centre to find items which they hope to make a profit on at auction.

The episode, which is scheduled to be shown on BBC One at 12.15pm on Monday, will also see Eric learn more about the history of Lynn.

It's the second time the show has visited the centre, after episodes were recorded there in late 2019 and broadcast last year.

The Warehouse also recently hosted the BBC Two series Antiques Road Trip for new episodes which are expected to be screened later in the year.

The new Bargain Hunt show comes just weeks after the borough was showcased in the latest Springwatch series, which was broadcast from the Wild Ken Hill reserve at Snettisham.
