Visitors to Lynn’s Custom House can go on the hunt for a host of Easter-themed goodies from tomorrow.
Staff at the historic building, which houses the town’s tourist information centre, will be offering puzzle sheets for children to explore the exhibition areas and find the 10 pieces that complete the puzzle.
Karen Cooke, assistant tourist information centre officer, said: “This is a brilliant and fun way to get children interested in our maritime heritage.
“By exploring the exhibitions to search for the puzzle pieces they will be able to learn about Nelson and Vancouver and a bit about the town’s history. And if they successfully find all the puzzle pieces they’ll win some chocolate too.
“We’re hoping that families coming along will also take the opportunity to find out about the host of fantastic events we have coming up this year.”
The initiative is on from tomorrow until April 12. The Custom House is open from 10am until 4pm every day, except Sundays when the opening hours are noon until 4pm. Normal admission charges of £1 for adults and 50p for children apply.
