Children run a mile at Runcton Holme

Children ran a mile at their primary school Holy Cross at Runcton Holme celebrating a decade of the event that helps to improve mental and physical well being.

It was ready steady go as pupils at the Church of England school as they were on their marks to get set and celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Daily Mile.

The students limbered up and ran their daily mile as part of the event, joining thousands of other schools around the world in recognition of a decade of the running initiative.
