What You Need Is What We Do. We say it, because we mean it.
It’s a mission embedded into our culture. Networking is at the heart of what we do, with 125 years of bringing people together, creating opportunities from Co.nnections, partnerships and friendships.
As we move towards the two-year anniversary of Covid-19 and the post-Brexit landscape, the focus has to be on moving forwards; keeping the momentum and direction onwards and upwards.
The transition from lockdown rhetoric is changing. It’s not re-growth, it’s growth.
November 15 is the beginning of UK’s first International Trade Week, and as a region with strong international trade links and growth high on the agenda, come along and join us for our Unlocking International trade event as we Co.nnect and Co.llaborate with experts to bring your business insights, initiatives and inspiration to help grow your business overseas.
West Norfolk businesses showcased their growth to the local business Co.mmunity with their attendance at our B2B event this month.
Attending not just as exhibitors and guests, but also as event sponsors, 24 Degrees were busy running workshops and networking for guests, whilst Layrd Design created a space with a ‘West Norfolk’ welcome.
We spoke to our Co.nnected sponsor’s, co-founders of 24 Degrees, Kathy Ennis and Emma Goode. Kathy told me: “We don’t see competition between business, we just see businesses that should be working together. We see co.llaboration and Co.operation and because of this, it was an easy decision to be here and to sponsor the networking.”
Emma continued with: “What better way to network with Norfolk businesses than being here, meeting all of the people we’ve been speaking to and working with over zoom in the past few months.”
Commercial interior designers, Layrd Design were our Co.mmunity Sponsor, creating our Eat, Chill and Chat space, which became the after party area following the B2B exhbition.
Director Will Layrd said, “It’s a great place to be, showing what we can do as a business, meeting local businesses and seeing what Norfolk has to offer.”
Our headline sponsor for B2B was BT Local Business, which said: “We’re part of the local community, so to get to network with other local businesses in the area is vital to what we do. It’s about thriving as a community by networking and learning from others and growing together.”
We want to thank every local business that attended #NorfolkB2B21 for bringing your West Norfolk Co.nversations with you. If you joined us in Hunstanton and Downham this month, thank you! We’re looking forward to enjoying more events than ever with you. As your chambers we want to be out and about listening to you.
