A Lynn business delivered an early Christmas gift to the youngsters at Little Discoverers when they donated £1,337.75 to support the charity’s work with pre-school children.

Workers from Learning Resources, who are based in North Lynn and create education aids, undertook a 49 mile coastal walk from Hunstanton to Cromer earlier this year.

Managing director Dennis Blackmore said: “We are delighted to have been able to donate to such a worthwhile cause, which supports local families and their children, with a longer term view of building the core skills necessary for their educational development.”

They presented the cheque to charity founder Katie Greatorex, who said: “We rely heavily on the generosity of local businesses to ensure we can continue to offer this much-needed service in West Norfolk and are pleased to have received support from a business which really understands the importance of early educational support.”

The donation will support pre-school children with movement difficulties and delayed development, building their confidence ready for the next step in their education.
