Christmas comes to West Lynn Primary School with Cinderella pantomime
Cinderella found herself in a West Norfolk school last week - and pupils were very excited to meet her.
The Friends of West Lynn Primary School have funded the Purple Dreams Production Pantomimes visits since 2016, and the school has enjoyed eight of its shows so far - including family favourites Beauty and the Beast and Alice in Wonderland.
This year, youngsters were ready with cheers and boos when they were treated to Cinderella, which had been adapted for primary-age children.
Nicki Maddison, deputy head teacher at West Lynn Primary School, said: “Purple Dreams always put on an entertaining and fully interactive pantomime for the children and staff to enjoy.”
Pupils were also excited to perform their own nativity called ‘Everyone Loves a Baby’ which featured children in Years 1 and 2.
“We are very proud of all the hard work the children have put into learning their lines and the songs,” Mrs Maddison added.
Meanwhile, Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 all took part in a carol concert at St Peter’s Church on December 13.
All the children were also invited to a special Christmas disco organised by The Friends, held last Wednesday.
