Downham Amateur Dramatic Society (DADS) have announced that they have sadly had to cancel their planned production of A Christmas Carol.

Although this is a setback, the theatre group are developing big plans for next year and beyond.

The group for youngsters, KIDDS will continue and the group hope to produce a show in the Spring with dates to be confirmed shortly.

A pantomime, play and musical for the adults' group is being planned and people are welcome to join the decision process.

A get together for a more inclusive process for choosing a play, perhaps with a read-through of some scripts over a glass of wine, is in the pipeline.

For the musical productions the group are searching for something that is cheap to produce as like with all amateur dramatic societies the group have had a very lean couple of years financially.
